Feliway Feline Behavior Modification Pheromone Spray

How does it work?
Feliway is is actually a pheromone, or smell, that all cats secrete from their facial glands. When Mr. Whiskers is rubbing his cheeks against your legs, he's really marking you as friendly. Conversely, when a cat urinates or defecates somewhere, especially in an area that is inappropriate, a pheromone is given off that signals "this spot is mine" to any other cats that might pass by. Why Feliway works: Cats do not rub their cheeks on or around their litter boxes. So applying the Feliway pheromone on top of the aggressive, territorial pheromone from urinating or spraying, the cat will get the message, "It's not ok to pee here anymore." Additionally, Feliway can help correct certain scratching problems, as cats also have a territorial pheromone in gland in their paws.
